Much easier to read and peruse than a ponderous anthology or an academic handbook, but equally valuable, this compact quote book allows students, scholars and plain literature lovers to take a comprehensive look at the ideas of a literary master about his own art. It is the perfect companion to his marvellous body of fiction work.
